No Bounds is proud to announce the release of Issue 3 of their print publication ‘I Am Hip-Hop Magazine’. 

In issue 3, we Celebrate 40 years of Universal Zulu Nation, Interviews with UK based Mc Big Cakes, USA based Mc Quadir Lateef and Visual Artist Tokio Aoyama. We also take a historical look at Hip Hop as a social movement, an exploration of the British Black Music scene and much more!
No Bounds have expanded the distribution of the publication to Portugal and Brazil, tapping into a growing market in the arts scene, with this on the agenda, Issue 3 has two articles written in Portuguese and the website now has a dedicated Portuguese section.
Since launching 2 years ago, I am Hip-Hop Magazine has become a popular read for Hip Hop fans worldwide, an educational resource, taking the culture back to the roots and using it as a tool to empower and share knowledge.
The publication’s website www.iamhiphopmagazine.com has become one of the most visited UK Hip Hop sites, updated daily with thought-provoking content that follows the ethos of the print magazine.
No Bounds (Registered Charity Number 1155963) was recently granted charity status after being recognised for their goals and mission to bridge the gap between creativity and knowledge helping socially marginalised young people across the U.K to fight injustices and inequality through creativity and education.
In 2014 I Am Hip-Hop magazine is working in partnerships with a number of like-minded community organisations. One venture that is set to commence over the next month is a radio show on the popular London based station Westside FM.
I Am Hip-Hop Magazine issue 3 will be released on April 7th 2014 and distributed across London.

Butterfly

My Little Butterfly
Your wings were made 
out of my tears. 
Not tears of sadness, 
but tears of joy. 
Tears of joy knowing your 
flying across heaven's garden. 
With your vibrant colors you 
created rainbows to remind me
of the good times when 
you were in my womb shaped 
like a cocoon. 
Nurturing and protecting you, 
but God had a different plan for 
you . 
I was hurt in the beginning and 
felt like God was my enemy.
God took you away from me, God took that moment of you and I.
I never got the chance to hold you, look into your eyes, or even sing you a lullaby. 
But, you whispered in my dreams one night, telling that love is beautiful and also painful. 
And to truly love you, I must learn to let you go. 
Which I finally learned to let you go and the pain subsided, your smile became my smile. 
Your soul became my soul and I watched you blossom into my little 
butterfly with vibrant colors created rainbows with 
your wings. 
At the sametime you transformed me into admirer of butterflies.

Fant-Sea

 

Can we go skinny dipping in my fant-sea tonight? The water temperature is just right. Just right for you and I to indulge into the depth in my kinky imagination. Where mermaids watch us making love under the sea. Under the sea where you and I should be. No other place I whether be. You and I swimming in my fant-sea. You taste my pleasures I taste your anticipation. We are lost together carelessly drowning and never thinking of coming up for air in my fant-sea.

Poetry Fiend

I’m a poet fiend 
At the age of fifteen 
I injected my veins with 
Poets from Giovanni,
Hughes, and Hearst 
But addiction grew stronger 
So injecting my veins with 
Poets from Frost, Shakespeare,
And Neruda 
Inspiration became my high but 
I wasn’t ready to write
As I grew older injected more 
Poets like Williams, Sanchez,
And Reed
Slowly progress into a poet 
Fiend
Impregnated by the poets who 
Came before me 
The pen immaculately conceived from hand
And so my thoughts connect to the pen like an
umbilical cord.
I began to write because the time
was right to seduce minds with my literally might
bathe the audience in my poems like the poets 
who bathed me in there literal sea 
for this I will always be a poet fiend
