Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Emily King released a beautiful single entitled "Distance" a smooth and seductive song about the heart grows fonder when two lovers are apart. With the acoustic the vibe mixed with her angelic voice makes this one of the top singles of 2014 so far.  Also, the music video is amazing with colorful visuals and poignant objects, with key emphasis on hands. #standwithjada

Morals, Principles, Standards, Values is something that is lacking within this generation of children and teens. Everything is a laughing matter and everything goes on social media.  I remember a time when it was important to stay in a child’s place. And certain things were unheard of such as alcohol abuse, drug usage, and now rapes that go viral. What values do our young people of today hold when they can drug, rape and abuse a young woman and take photos of it and post them on the internet to go viral. What Morals do our young men have today to actually display such behavior. It ails me to have seen the pictures of young Jada laying there in the floor half clothed and then to also see young men mimicking the pose in photos. #jadapose.  It was totally unimaginable. I came up in a time where things like this were not done and young men had nothing but respect for young women. Am I saying that the boys weren’t attempting to get the girl. Or course not. Boys have been trying to “Get the girl” for years and years to come. But RAPE! Really?  The crime of Sexually assaulting a teenager or anyone has taken a sad turn and it is time to take a stand for morality.

It’s time that we go back to teaching our children morals and love for our brothers and sisters.  I am hurt because I have a 16 year old and wondered what I would have done in this situation? What would my child do in this situation?

Would she be as brave as young Jada or would she fold up like many others and hide their faces in shame.  I would say that hiding is not an option. No matter the embarrassment, the punishment for the culprits should be more vital.

If you have in any way perpetuated jokes, mocking, or hate (aka rape culture) to #jadapose you are a sick and terrible human being says one individual from a post online on BBC. I whole heartedly agree.

The day the report aired, #jadapose was trending on Twitter in Houston. It's been used more than 30,000 times since across the US.

The hashtag was attached to photos of people replicating the shot that Jada says is evidence of a crime. (The Houston police are investigating the original incident.)

One user made a Vine video, singing an improvised song over a photo of three men replicating the pose. It has been retweeted over 100 times. In a separate tweet, and after some criticism, that user wrote: "If you don't know what really happened don't comment on it."

But there are only a few examples of the mocking photos left on Twitter and Instagram. Instead, the hashtag now attracts thousands of messages denouncing the meme.

A search for the hashtag #Jadapose is more likely to bring up a new kind of photo - women posing with their arms flexed, a measure of solidarity and a message to Jada to stay strong. There are also several hashtags - #StandWithJada, #Jadacounterpose and #JusticeforJada - promoting an anti-rape message.

So I #standwithjada and believe that #justiceforjada is well deserved.

Why Should Bino & Fino Come To America ?

Today's cartoons in America is lacking the diversity and originality, must cartoons are mostly repetitive in content with only different looking characters. Maybe it's time to bring some diversity and opportunity to ethnic groups around the world to bring a new kind of image and a fresh broad scope of the world.

And one children show that comes to mind is "Bino & Fino,"a cartoon series about a brother and sister named Bino and Fino who lives with their grandparents 'Mama and Papa' in a modern day city in Africa. Bino and Fino have many adventures where with the help of their friend Zeena the magic butterfly, they discover and learrn about the world. Bino and Fino was created due to demand  for more ethnically entertainment and most importantly providing a positive image of the black family. This wonderful show has a globalized appeal to all children of kindergarten and preschool age. They teach the beauty of all African culture which is needed in America because there is lack of understanding about the story and history of Africa. This would be a extraordinary opportunity for children to have fun and learn the vast eclectic  African languages which will help broaden the children's perspective on the world as well as Africa.

The First Image: Don Cheadle as Miles Davis

EW shared this pic, which Don Cheadle posing with his head bowed down, wearing Miles Davis signature jheri-cured mullet and a trumpet engraved with name of  Miles Ahead's hero. This will be Cheadle's first directorial debut on the biopic that is now in production.

The biopic of Miles Davis will focus on the five-year span where he stopped making music and his troubled marriage to Frances Taylor Davis, which led up to the creation of Davis's 1969 jazz-rock album in a Silent Way.

This was Don Cheadle's dream project going back to 2006.  Rumors of a screenplay was completed, but as the year went by nothing came to light. Without the backing of any major studio, Cheadle decided to it on his own and Miles Ahead is now shooting in Cincinnati, Ohio. No release date has yet been set.
